Day 1: |
Arrive Delhi, meet and
assistance and transfer to hotel in Delhi, dinner and
overnight.

Day 2: |
After breakfast, full day
tour of Delhi, visit Old Delhi with its narrow bustling
streets and colourful bazaars, the Jama Masjid Mosque,
visit Raj Ghat the memorial site of Mahatma Ghandi and
drive past the Red Fort and Chandi Chowk bazaars. In New
Delhi visit Qutab Minar tower (a Unesco World Heritage
monument), the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humuyun,
Lakshmi and Narayan Temple. Drive along the sweeping
Raipath to the monumental India gate, the Parliament
house and government buildings. Dinner and overnight in
Delhi.

Day 3: |
After breakfast, drive to
Agra. In the afternoon visit the famous Taj Mahal,
situated on the banks of the river Yamuna. The Taj Mahal
is an epitome of Love, a fabulous memorial by the Mughal
Emperor Shah Jahan to honour his beloved wife Queen
Mumtaz Mahal. Tour of the 16th century Agra Fort and the
fairytale Jahangir Palace. Other visits within the Fort
include Khas Mahal, Sheesh Mahal (the mirror palace) and
the Anguri Bagh (Grape Garden). Dinner and overnight in
Agra.

Day 4: |
After breakfast, drive to
the pink city of Jaipur, en route visit Fatehpur Sikri,
a perfectly preserved deserted Mughal city built in red
sandstone.Continue onto Jaipur the capital of Rajasthan
– land of the kings, colourful and exotic. Dinner and
overnight in Jaipur.

Day 5: |
After breakfast, visit the
ancient Fort Palace of Amber, and afternoon visit Jaipur,
the City palace home of the present Maharaja, the unique
Hawa Mahal (palace of the Winds), the Royal Observatory,
the Jantar Mantar and the Central Museum. Dinner and
overnight in Jaipur.

Day 6: |
After breakfast, depart from
Jaipur for Delhi or continue for extension tour (see
options). Dinner and overnight in Delhi.

Day 7: |
After breakfast, transfer to
Delhi airport for departure.
