A short break from
Cyprus to Jordan, this tour allows the traveller an insight into
Jordans wonders, Petra, Dead Sea, Jerash, the Kingshighway, Madaba
and mount Nebo.

Day 1: |
Arrive Amman, meet your
driver and guide and depart south via the scenic Kings
Highway to Madaba "the city of Mosaics". Visit the
famous 6th century Byzantine Mosaic map of the Holy Land
and continue to Mount Nebo, the last resting place of
Moses with amazing views to the Jordan River, Jericho
and Jerusalem. Drive to the Dead Sea, free time to
experience the peculiar sensation of floating on the
surface of the sea at the lowest point on Earth.
(Special arrangements have been made at a hotel in the
Dead Sea to shower and change). Continue to Kerak, an
old crusader town dominated by its 12th Century fort.
Continue to Petra for overnight.

Day 2: |
After breakfast, tour of
Petra- now one of the new Seven Wonders of the World and
UNESCO World Heritage site. You have the option to ride
on horseback to the entrance of the siq, then continue
on foot to Petra, known as the rose red city. Visit the
famous Treasury, that appears dramatically at the end of
the siq. Overnight in Petra.

Day 3: |
After breakfast, transfer
from Petra to the ancient Roman city of Jerash
considered one of the largest and most well preserved
sites of Roman architecture in the world outside Italy.
Overnight in Amman.

Day 4: |
Day free at leisure.
Optional visit to downtown Amman for shopping at the
Souk or visit the Citadel. Transfer to Amman airport for
your return flight.
