Itinerary – Cairo & River Nile Cruise

2 nights Cairo with private tour 

4 nights Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan

Day 1 Saturday:  Arrive Cairo, transfer to hotel for overnight

Day 2 Sunday:  Private guided tour of Cairo with Egyptologist guide. Visit the Pyramids of Giza , the last remaining wonder of the ancient world still standing. Visit the Sphinx and continue to the Egyptian museum of antiquities. Return to Hotel

Day 3 Monday:  Transfer to airport for domestic flight to Luxor. Transfer to Luxor port for embarkation. Lunch on board. Tour of the East Bank Luxor and Karnak Temples. Dinner on Board and overnight in Luxor.

Day 4 Tuesday:  Guided tour of the West Bank of the Nile. Visit Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut temple and Colossi of Memnon. Lunch on Board. Sail to Edfu. Dinner on Board. Overnight in Edfu.

Day 5 Wednesday:  Visit the impressive temple of Horus in Edfu the most complete of all Egyptian Temples. Sail to Kom Ombo. Lunch on Board. Visit Kom Ombo Temple. Sail to Aswan. Dinner on Board, overnight in Aswan.

Day 6 Thursday:  Visit Aswan’s most famous sites, the High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk and Philae Temple. Lunch on board. Visit the botanical garden by felucca or small motor boat. Dinner on board. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 7 Friday:  Disembarkation after breakfast. Transfer to Aswan airport for departure flight.
