    JORDAN HIGHLIGHTS – Private Tour

    Petra – Dead Sea – Mount Nebo – Jerash  (1 night Petra, 1 night Dead Sea, 1 night Amman)

    DAY 1: Arrive Amman, meet and assistance at airport. Transfer along the desert highway to Petra.  Dinner and overnight in Petra.

    DAY 2: Guided tour of Petra, ancient Nabatean city (optional horse ride included 600 meters from entrance to the start of the siq). Walk through the narrow passageway to the famous monument, the Treasury.  Depart to the Dead Sea (approx. 190 km).  Time to enjoy the floating experience on the lowest point on earth. Dinner and overnight at the Dead Sea.

    DAY 3:  Transfer to Mount Nebo, considered one of the most holy sites in Jordan and last resting place of Moses.  See the 4-6th century mosaics, on the church grounds.  Continue to Jerash, ancient Roman City, for guided Tour.  Dinner and overnight in Amman.

    DAY 4: Transfer to Amman airport for departure.

      Optional Visits  (time permitting)

      • Chariot Race in Jerash:  whilst in Jerash may watch the Roman Chariot race.  (if operating)
      • Wadi Rum: Stay in the desert overnight, sleep under the stars (en-suite deluxe tent or “The Martian Tent”) – enjoy 4×4 tour of the desert landscape 
      • Petra:  visit little Petra or Petra by candlelight in the evening (usually 3 times a week)
