Lefkara – Nicosia and Larnaca – Tour from Limassol

Departing from Limassol headed North en route to Nicosia, there will be a stop to visit the famous village of Lefkara. Learn about the history and progression of the well-known Cyprus embroidery and view unique pieces of art known as Lefkaritika Lace as well as silver handicrafts.
We continue to Nicosia and pass by the Venetian Walls, Famagusta Gate to the Old City within the walls and the Archbishop’s Palace. After a short walk to Ledra Street you will have some free time with options to visit Leventis Municipal Museum, where you may see objects from the history of the city and island, Shacolas Tower with 360 degrees view of the city and the occupied side, as well as the many shops and local cafes.
If you like, you may also visit the Turkish-occupied area of Cyprus, separated by the UN Buffer Zone.
Next stop will be in Larnaca, where you will have free time to visit the following sights: the magnificent Agios Lazaros Church and Tomb – the church has some of the finest examples of Byzantine architecture; The Old Town with its traditional stalls and shops; the famous palm tree-lined Finikoudes Promenade, where, if you wish, you can also swim, visit cafes and restaurants.
If swimming, bring your swimming gear and towel.
