ITINERARY
From Cyprus to Cairo
Visit Cairo home of the Great Pyramids of Giza, the last surviving wonder of the ancient world. Visit the newly opened Grand Egyptian museum (reopens 04 Nov 2025), a vast treasure trove containing the world’s largest collection of antiquities and marvel at the treasures of the Pharoah’s tombs. The complete Tutankhamun Galleries and the Khufu Solar Boat.
A stay of two or three nights will allow you to see Cairo’s wonderous sights. Many optional tours are available to visit, beautiful mosques, imposing citadels, labyrinthine bazaars, ancient coptic churches, dinner on the River Nile at sunset or the Pharaonic village. Enjoy your own private tour accompanied by a qualified Egyptologist.
Itinerary
Day 1: Meet and assistance upon arrival at Cairo Airport with visas (payable locally for some nationals or pre-arranged in advance). Private Transfer to hotel
Day 2: Full day private guided tour of Pyramids of Giza, Sphinx and Grand Egyptian Museum. Your Egyptologist guide will explain the history of these amazing wonders of the World. Return to hotel.
Optional: Evening dinner on the River Nile with show. (Nile Maxim boat), or Evening sound & light show at the Pyramids.
Day 3: Morning free at leisure. Or take optional half day private tour (see list of options). Private transfer to Cairo airport for departure flight.

Flights to Cairo and alternative accommodation in Cairo can be arranged. If prefer to take the Cairo tour (Pyramids of Giza and Grand Egyptian Museum) over two half days instead of a full day tour this is possible with supplement of €70 per person.
