Troodos Jeep Safari – Day trip tour from Limassol

Jeep safari begins with a visit to Omodos, a traditional village, where the Church of Holy Cross can be viewed, translated as church of “Timios Stavros”. in the viilage one can explore the local souvenir shops. The different types of local wines can also be tasted as Omodos is considered one of the famous wine producing villages in the area.
Tour continues for visit to the ancient “Tzielefos Bridge”, hidden deep within the mountains, which in the past the bridge connected the two parts of Cyprus.
Continuing further, there will be off-road driving towards Kykkos Monastery, which is, dedicated to the Virgin Mary. it is one of the wealthiest and most lavish monasteries in Cyprus, and houses one of the three icons attributed to Apostle Luke the Evangelist.
From there on Jeep Safari tour continues to Mount Olympus, which is the highest peak point on the island.
For lunch there will be a stop in a traditional village tavern.
After lunch tour continues for visit to one of the largest waterfalls on the island – “Millomeri Waterfalls”.
Finally the Jeep safari is completed with a stop at the picturesque Village of Laneia. Enjoy a walk through the beautiful flower lined streets and stone houses.
